We collect contact details, delivery information and order details when you purchase. We also receive messages you send to our team, including trip preferences you choose to share for gear advice.

Our servers may record browser type, device information, referring page and basic request times. Optional analytics are collected only according to your cookie choice.

We use information to process orders, provide delivery updates, answer questions, prevent fraud, maintain the website and improve product descriptions and service operations.
4. Order and payment handling
Payment details are handled by our payment service providers. Oxen Core Blend receives transaction status and limited payment references, not complete card numbers.
5. Sharing with service providers
We share only what is necessary with delivery companies, payment processors, hosting providers, customer-support tools and professional advisers. They may use information only to provide contracted services.
6. Communications
We send transactional messages about orders and support requests. Promotional messages are sent only where permitted and include a clear unsubscribe route.

We keep order records for accounting, tax and warranty needs, then delete or anonymize them when no longer required. Support messages are retained for service quality and dispute handling.

We use access controls, encrypted connections and operational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission is completely risk-free.

Our store is not directed to children under the age permitted to enter a purchase contract. Service providers may process information outside Japan with appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

13. Data portability and access requests
You can ask us for a copy of the order, delivery and account information we hold about you in a readable format, and you can ask us to correct anything that is out of date, such as a former delivery address still saved to your account. We verify a request against the email or phone number on file before sending anything, to make sure order history is not disclosed to the wrong person, and we aim to respond within two weeks.
14. Marketing communications and opt-out
If you sign up for gear guides or seasonal offers, every email includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately on our side. Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages tied to an active order — shipping confirmations, delivery updates and replies to a support ticket continue regardless, since we need those to fulfil a purchase you have already placed.
15. How we protect stored information
Account and order data sits behind access controls limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders or answer support questions, and connections to the site and checkout are encrypted in transit. We keep our list of third-party processors — payment, delivery and hosting — as short as practical, and we review those relationships periodically rather than adding new integrations without reason.
17. How to raise a concern
If you feel your information was not handled the way this policy describes, please contact us first — most concerns are resolved once we understand exactly what happened, whether that means correcting an order record or explaining why a particular detail was collected during checkout. If our response does not resolve the matter, you may also raise it with Japan's data protection authority.
18. Entire policy
This privacy policy, together with our terms of service and cookie policy, sets out the complete basis on which Oxen Core Blend handles your information, and it replaces any earlier version once the effective date above takes effect.
